Agave and Fall Colors

The Agave, or Century Plant, is a succulent plant commonly found in the desert. The Maple is a common hardwood tree, found in more temperate climates. Finding the two of them together is quite uncommon. This photo was taken on the Mogollon Rim, the 1000 foot drop marking the transition from the Colorado Plateau to the Sonoran Desert.
